Scrapbook Americana
What makes America Beautiful?
All things American: Past, Present, Future. We are a blend of many things here in the United States of America. This is a space to share those many slices of American Pie: History, Family, Friends, All-American Activities, Culture, Humor, Icons, Inventions, Landscape, People and Passtimes. We are the Melting Pot of the World: Stories of Native and Immigrant Ancestry.
Want to ADD YOUR LENS to THIS GROUP?
Please READ THIS first!!!
Then go to the right and click "add an existing lens" to submit it for approval. What are we looking for? Great content, personal stories and experiences that relate to this group. Perhaps we stumbled upon your lens and sent you a personal invitation (lucky you!). Just do the same and we'll have you set up. pronto!
SHARING THE GROUP SPIRIT:
We're all here because we love American people and culture- and to support each other in this group! (Hey, isn't that what a group is all about?)
New members get a rating-by-the-stars personal welcome message in their lens' guest book (hint, hint- set one up if you don't already have one!). Kindly take the time to "share the group spirit" by visiting the wonderful lenses of your fellow group members and supporting them too. I'll be honest here- I RARELY give 5 stars. I give quit a few 4 & 3-star ratings, though.
A lens must truly blow me away to get that 5 stars and it just doesn't happen every day. It takes at least 3-star quality based on my own humble opinion (I don't care what the rating already is) to qualify. Since not all lenses "cut the mustard", you are guaranteed to find QUALITY stuff here (another Group perk).
There's always something new and different here, so please come back and see "what's shakin'" with new members, new lenses, lens updates (see "Freshest Slices" for the most recently updated member lenses) and new features!
Thanks for you participation!
Visit our Poll: How many states have you seen? (And find out how many others have seen, too.)
Be sure to Sign the Guest Book, too!
Please come back again to watch us grow.
Thanks for stopping by!
