Christmas Tree Ornaments: Big Memories in Little Boxes

I am a sucker for Christmas ornaments.  I have hundreds.  More than any three trees could ever hold.  I love the quirky ornaments, the homemade ones, the sentimental ones, the vintage ones, the collectible ones, and the simply pretty ones.

Beautifully adorning any Christmas tree, from the simpliest to the most ornate, Christmas ornaments are a tradition to be treasured.  They give the holiday a sense of tradition.  These are little items with big memories that we take out and pack away every year.

If you love Christmas ornaments, but just don't put up a big tree, then one of these ornament holders would be ideal. It is also a great way to feature a collection of special ornaments.

Grab a great new ornament for yourself or as a gift!

I love to top each gift I give with an ornament attached to the bow. Picking the perfect ornament for someone is so much fun. Then again a beautiful icicle tops off a beautiful package for anyone.

I have lots of different kinds of ornaments, and each year I choose a theme and color scheme and go for it. But lots of angel ones means most years are angels, only the colors change, and sometimes it's angels and stars, or angels and fairies, or etc....

I like unique and I like a color themed tree. A combination is good: some personal and unique stuff, combining it with a colored theme. That way the tree doesn't become too 'busy', but is still personal.

I love each ornament to have a memory attached to it and, as a result, we have a very eclectic Christmas tree or a sentimental one as you called it!

Got a Christmas Ornament Lens?

If you have a Christmas Ornament lens that you'd like to have added to this group, please add it here! I'd like any submissions to me mostly about Christmas ornaments (not just about Christmas). Thanks.

I love decorating the tree and taking my time to recall the special memories for each ornament ~ who and when it was received or who made it. I have several that I treasure that were made by our "adopted" Grandma Jo, what a love she was!
