The Cook's Nook Like to Cook? Like to Eat? Maybe Dish a little?
Well, sit yourself down and prepare for a feast of recipies, restaurant reviews, food selection and storage, nutrition, kitchen gadgets, cooking and baking tips galore!
I'll admit here that I'm much more of a cook than a baker. Though I really appreciate all those fantastic baked goods, baking itself usually requires too much precision for my spontaneous cooking nature. Something about having to measure it all out each and every time just cramps my style, but I do have a few "standards" (like cornbread- even got that one memorized) that allow a greater margin for improvisation...or error. (Yep- that looks like a tablespoon! Sure that's a quarter of a cup- or close enough...) If you are into "Precision Cooking" Check out the RSS for "Cooking for Engineers"-- great stuff!
