Liberia Is Open for Business

Liberia is moving towards a better future.

As this video states, following the war, Liberia is moving from chaos to a more positive future of peace and stability. The infrastructure is recovering, and Liberia has four telecommunications companies.

However, it is worrying that this film talks in terms of how the country can be exploited by the West in terms of tourism and the export of natural resources. Liberia produces rubber, fruit, and many other crops, as well as gold and timber, and has oil reserves.

For more about Liberia's recent, troubled past, see Johnny Mad Dog.
