There really is no way for the site to insure items that are sold by individuals. However, both Fedex and UPS ship world wide and you can insure items you are shipping up to any amount. And they do honor your claims whether the items are lost or damaged.

In UK we have institutional theft in the Post Office when items are stolen(regularly) we can claim and the claim is usually honoured, however after the item leaves UK for USA we have no claim to compensation. Is there a method of insuring using your site?
