The Adventures of Squid Contest
We all know that Squidoo is filled with lensmasters who know how to build a great lens. We see a lot of creativity and style created in pixels and prose; so we wondered how many ways you could show a Squid some love with real life drama!
We sent out the call, and we got some great responses. Our favorite was the Adventures of Squid Girl, and she's got the prizes to prove it!
The Party Animal captured out hearts with her story of Squid Girl's visit to see Santa.
What's that? You didn't know there was a Squid Girl?
Well, we didn't either; until Party Animal introduced us to her. She's a distant cousin to our Squidoo Orange Guy, and she has taken Squidoo by storm!
You won't want to miss the story of her adventure with Santa and our very own Adventure Team.

You may have noticed that Squidoo Orange Guy had gone missing during the adventure, but what you didn't know is that he was calling me periodically to keep me informed about his own personal adventure.
The Adventure Team kept checking in to remind me it was time to make the announcement... I knew I had missed the deadline; but I couldn't tell you that I was out of the office with Orange Guy. He had sworn me to secrecy; and I just couldn't tell you that we were engaged in some midnight negotiations that delayed my communications with the rest of the Adventure Team.
Orange Guy plans to share more about that in days to come, but right now I invite you to drop by and congratulate Party Animal on her captivating story of her Adventures with Squid Girl.
It's a delightful tale, and I promise that her story will leave you begging for more!

Aw, I just found about this now. Woops! Or else Squid guy would've came with me to the White House, The Liberty Bell, the top of some mountains in Vermont, got a little darker shade of orange in Palm Springs....this contest must be done again next year!

Sounds like a cool idea, wish this was a couple of months ago as we could have taken the little guy with us on a New York City Break or even to the Florida Keys. Right now I'm not going anywhere, but I am looking forward to seeing the results.
