While international adoption in Malawi is a fairly new phenomenon, the door seems to be opening a bit wider...even beyond Madonna! Hopefully the government will soon create laws that, while insuring the childrens' safety, will make the process less challenging. The utter neediness of thousands of children should energize their efforts.
