Biographies of famous people. A biography can be many things: A biography is a picture the outside world has of a person, or the historical view that we have today of a person who lived earlier. An autobiography on the contrary is often a way to justify and defend decisions made by a public person. Then there are PR biographies: The rich and famous ask an author (or in the case of an auto-biography a ghost wiriter) to write a biography that puts their person in a favourable light....

In other words: Biographies are like everything these days that is published: Some truths, some half truths and sometimes outright lies. When you read a biography or listen to a biography audio book, keep this in mind.
