BODY ART & MODIFICATION

branding, corsetry, piercing, tattooing, nail painting, shaving,
body painting, hair dyeing, dermal implants, scarification

Group Criteria

how to tell if you lens is right for the group

Got a body art lens? Want to to build one?

Bring your love of body art to the Body Art & Modification group!

Please note that this group purposely has a very tight focus. The majority of the lens content must be about body art (i.e. tattoos, piercings, branding, etc) to be accepted. Lenses that are primarily links or content about affiliate programs (i.e. clickbank) will be rejected, as will lenses on fat burning, dieting and weight loss.

Lenses that are full of duplicate or plagiarized content are also not what we are looking for. Such submissions will be rejected or banned at the discretion of the group owner.

We're looking for great personal stories, awesome pics of your skin art and great original content!

A-Z of Body Art

from the Nose Piercing Lens Duel!

can employers put limits on nose rings?

"If they can let someone with a huge mole
on their face work professionally and
they have a problem with a tiny little 'sparkle'
on the side of my nose......uh, does anyone
else think that there is something wrong
with this picture?? Tell you what, I'll dye
my clear nose retainer brown, glue a hair
on it and call it a mole. Will THAT make
you feel more comfortable you
discriminating freaks??!!!"

I am all for body art, piercing and tat's, although some body modification is a bit extreme, as it just looks sore and uncomfortable, I saw images of jacob's ladder the other day, omg !
Our bodies are our own temples and we should cherish them, and enhance !!!! not destroy!!!!

But as always beauty is in the eye of the beholder!!!!! so who can judge what is art and what is not.

Its about freedom of expression. What anyone wants to do with their body is their choice.
The body is your temple, and your spirit is eternal.

I do think that plastic surgery is a form of body art. What sucks is that the vague guidelines for it make it so that some harmless body mods are unethical and any procedure that upholds mainstream aesthetics is automatically considered ethical.
