"Good children's literature appeals not only to the child in the adult, but to the adult in the child" - Anonymous

"There is no substitute for books in the life of a child" - Mary Ellen Chase

"Books, to the reading child, are so much more than books - they are dreams and knowledge, they are a future, and a past" - Esther Meynell

I added an amazing piece of fiction by R.F. Delderfield "To Serve Them All My Days." Few books have affected me so deeply and helped me to recognize the importance of strong character, the influence we have on other people, and many more applicable life lessons. It's been years since i've read it but it has a special place in my library, and I look forward to the time I can visit that world again. Little did I know that R.F. Delderfield was such a renown author. Now I must read his other books.
