Love Brit Coms. There was an hilarious show I saw in England in 1991. Never saw the name. Was about several suburban families living on a street. In one house, the man is working in his garden. There has been a delivery of manure for fertilizer. A ministry official comes to check out something and finds the pile radio active. But the conversation he has with the homeowner is totally miscommunicated and the homeowner thinks he's talking about his medical tests. The official puts on a rubber glove up to his shoulder and the homeowner is almost fainting. More miscommunication occurs when the homeowner shows up at the clinic to have some tests done. Tears rolled down my face. There was more about other families on the street. More mix ups. Does anyone know the name of this program?

Hi - I am trying to find a British show that aired in America in the late 90's early 00's. The premise of the show was creating odd situations in public and filming people's reactions to it. For example, someone would dress up in a bear suit and then walk outside to hail a cab. Any ideas?
