THE RULES.

Submit anything you like as long as it's about British TV comedy.

Please do not submit anything relating to "how to make money" by watching TV, sharing videos or any other such scam as this lowers the tone of the group and has nothing to do with the spirit of Squidoo.

THE TELETUBBIES ARE NOT FUNNY!!!
If you submit a lens on Teletubbies I shall have no option but to immerse myself in Chocolate Ice Cream and Wood-Shavings until I feel better.

This Group is run for its members and the entertainment of visiting squidooers.. Although I write a lot of Comedy Lenses you lot get featured and Top lens Positions I'm not greedy. A crawler and a sychophant? Yes! But not greedy.

Check out his Monty Python lens. The 4 Yorkshiremen sketch was originaly done for a charity event called The Secret Policemens Ball. The Python team loved it so much they incorporated it into their live show.

Welcome Kimberly.

A great lens on Lauren Child. I count that as comedy and it's British. A fantastic lens. My 4 year old says it has got to be in so there Charlie.

A great big comedy welcome to Kab. The Kumars are brilliant. Hows about a Goodness Gracious Me Lens?"

I love Father Ted. So this new Lens from Mozzie has made my day. Welcome.

What can you say about the series "Coupling", that hasn't been said by the critics and the fans. A fantastic lens from mac33 says it all. Welcome to the British Comedy TV shows Group.

Terry Gilliam is the Genius behind the Monty Python Animations. Yes I know he's American but his contribution to British Comedy earns him a place in our Comedy legends section. Welcome Rachel.

If you have a lens on your favourite British TV Comedy Actor or Actress, submit it and I'll stick it here.

The Serious stuff Submissions.

Yes we do have a policy. We want this group to be the best on Squidoo.

Lenses should have content and tell us and evrybody else what the show is about. If you send just a page full of links well it will probably get accepted but never featured.

Every day, I scour Squidoo for decent lenses to add and I am amazed at some lenses out there. I know that when Squidoo started it was viewed as a link list but things are moving on and content is King.

I will never tell you what to do with your own lens though. They are your lenses after all.

The Serious stuff. Group Promotion

I try and put at least 1 post per day on SquidU and will try and cross promote all lenses in the group. If anyone has any good free promotion ideas then feel free to share them in the Group discussion below.

This does not include "Sign up to my MLM scheme, Traffic Generation scheme etc." They are for Marketing lenses.

Love Brit Coms. There was an hilarious show I saw in England in 1991. Never saw the name. Was about several suburban families living on a street. In one house, the man is working in his garden. There has been a delivery of manure for fertilizer. A ministry official comes to check out something and finds the pile radio active. But the conversation he has with the homeowner is totally miscommunicated and the homeowner thinks he's talking about his medical tests. The official puts on a rubber glove up to his shoulder and the homeowner is almost fainting. More miscommunication occurs when the homeowner shows up at the clinic to have some tests done. Tears rolled down my face. There was more about other families on the street. More mix ups. Does anyone know the name of this program?

Hi - I am trying to find a British show that aired in America in the late 90's early 00's. The premise of the show was creating odd situations in public and filming people's reactions to it. For example, someone would dress up in a bear suit and then walk outside to hail a cab. Any ideas?
