Chocolate :: One of the Primary Food Groups

From pure pleasure, to healthful dietary addition, chocolate truly fulfills the myth of being the "food of the gods," a myth probably generated just to give an excuse to have lots of it!

The Chocolate Group - perfect! I've added my lens on Austrian chocolate. I'm lucky enough to have received a selection of handmade chocolate from the Zotter Chocolate Shop, and it is truly divine!

Hello Julia: My name is Joe Bodek and while checking out the internet I found your site. I thought your group might be interested in a tasting or further information regarding Xocia's healthy chocolate. Not only is it delicious and healthy for everyone it's diabetic friendly. As a type II diabetic I haven't had chocolate for 7 years (what a drag) but not anymore! Anyway here's some info on the product and if you would like a taste let me know. You can reach me at jbodek1@comcast.net, 610-529-5208 or my website at www.gotgreatchocolate.com. By the way we are expanding in the area and are looking for people that would like to increase their income by asking people if they like chocolate. Not what you would call rocket science. Below is a bit more info for ya. Have a great day. Best, JB

Xocai Chocolate: It's Healthy, Delicious and Good for the Planet, Too!!

What do a Main Line lawyer, doctor, and accomplished sales executive all have in common? If you ask Janet Sanders, Kim Tarnoff, and Nicki Beekman, the resounding response is chocolate-along with the very successful business that brought them together and the friendship that resulted from it. These women are not alone. Did you know that not only do nine out of ten people love chocolate, but that the average American consumes more than 12 pounds of chocolate each year? The good news is that unprocessed cacao is the highest source of antioxidants in the world and, eaten in its correct form and in moderation, chocolate offers extraordinary health benefits in practically every system in the body!

Chocolate is, of course, rich in taste, but also rich in history. Ancient Mayan cultures consumed cocoa for health in the form of "xocolatl", a raw cacao drink and a precursor of today's chocolate. Unfortunately, most of today's chocolate is both roasted and has undergone "dutching," whereby alkali-potash is added to the cocoa causing fermentation! Dr. Steve Warren, Chief Medical Advisor for MXI Corporation, notes that "sixty-seven percent of all the important flavonoids [powerful antioxidants] in chocolate are typically lost during the alkalization and fermentation process that commercial chocolate undergoes."

So what is a chocoholic to do? Enter Jeanette Brooks, a Type 2 diabetic who, with her family, started the MXI Corporation. Knowing raw cacao's benefits, Jeanette and the Brooks family created a mission: to take health to the entire world through smooth, delicious, dark Belgian chocolate! Jeanette and her family worked with scientists to develop a revolutionary, proprietary cold-processed chocolate, and then sweetened it with another super food, the exotic Amazonian acai berry. The result: Xocai, which is pronounced "show sigh", combining the "xo" from xocolatl and "cai" for acai. Because of its processing, Xocai contains the maximum antioxidant power of dark chocolate without the preservatives, fillers and high sugar content present in all other commercially available chocolate.

And Xocai is good for the planet, too! MXI uses environmentally safe, ethically traded ingredients and contracts with small family owned and operated farms in the Ivory Coast for the purchase of cacao. MXI also obtains their acai berries from co-op farms in Brazil and they guarantee that suppliers pay fair wages to employees and use no pesticides. Through the Xo-Love (pronounced "show love") Project, the company donates money, time, and products to the areas from which it obtains supplies. Additionally, rather than using Styrofoam, all Xocai packaging is certified as recyclable.

So, getting back to our 3 Main Line ladies, Nicki, Kim and Janet%u2026what do they love even more than chocolate?
They love having the opportunity to share this amazing and unique chocolate with health-minded people all over the world, and actually changing people's lives for the better. Stay tuned for personal testimonials and great health information in future segments of Chocolate Bliss and learn why Xocai Healthy Chocolate may well be the solution for anyone looking for a recession-proof opportunity in today's unpredictable business environment.
