Classical Music & Friends

Most anything about classical music from all periods, Medieval to Modern, and all types from Opera to Orchestra, Choral to Chamber music. Music you recommend, music you don't, articles about music, and enlightening and enlightened discussion about music. The range is wide but we do restrict the content to being about "classical music", the stuff you're likely to hear on public radio and recordings of which you rarely find in popular music stores.

I am looking for good curating and interesting, original content having to do with classical music. Visitors want you to talk about the music you love and give your opinions. Feel free to promote yourself or your musical ensemble, but do with your own words. I will look less kindly on lenses that exist solely to promote or that are primarily auto-generated modules.

The group's icon is a painting called "The Singing Man" ("Le Chanteur"), by twentieth-century Spanish artist Joan Miró.

Hi! I'm a big cello concerto fan (Dvorak, Shostakovich, Elgar...)

Marked you as a fave and tagged with del.icio.us

Just started a new guitar lens that features all styles, including classical (the latest section is on classical guitar for kids).

Best wishes!

Thanks for Including the Gregorian Masters of Chant Lens. Their unique style makes it difficult to categorize them in just one music style.
