This groups is for Lensmasters with an interest in Crafts and Crafting. If you want to share your hobbies or just show off what you've made this is the group for you. My own craft skills are mainly thread (especially Lace Making), fabric or paper based but that doesn't exclude anything from this group. Take our Poll and let us know what sort of Crafts you do - why not join us to show off your craft. All our Members will be showcased at some point here at Group HQ and we encourage visitors to your Lens. If there isn't a Plexo for your Craft yet, don't worry - we can soon create one - just let me know.

The whole idea of Groups, as I see it, is to share ideas and information to help us get the most out of both Squidoo and the subject matter of our Lenses. To help with that I have created a mailing list to keep you up to date with what is going on here at Group HQ! You will only receive emails when we have updated the HQ page with something of interest - you don't need to know when all I've done is correct a typo! Your email address will NEVER be shared. Group Rules

To protect you...

Of recent times there have been problems with unscrupulous lensmasters spamming groups so, reluctantly, I have had to set some group membership rules. If you apply to the group you are deemed to have read and agreed to these rules.

This group is for lenses about things to make and do yourself so it is not really an appropriate place for lenses about pet rearing and so on - however lovely there are. Equally it is not the place for lenses about selling the craft work you do yourself though directing viewers to suitable supplies and information as part of your lens is encouraged.

1. No spam or inappropriate lenses - the Group Master's decision is final! Spam Lenses will be flagged - sorry to seem heavy handed but this is becoming a problem in all groups.

2. Family Friendly Lenses only please, this is a Crafts and Hobbies Group about things you can make and do yourself.

3. No Duplicate Lenses

4. Lenses must have at least three content modules, not just an introduction. Polls, Plexos and Guestbooks do NOT count as content modules. Lenses with empty modules will not be considered.

5. Lenses must have their 'Contact Me' link activated - your email address is protected by Squidoo.

I do visit and rate every lens that applies to the Group, and encourage others to visit too, and there are other membership benefits which you will hear about via the Group Update Service when you sign up for it. You will not be inundated with loads of emails - just a note when I update the Group HQ to let you know that there is something new to see.
