We love Squidoo for its diversity and all-inclusive nature but also believe that the cream rises to the top! This lens is a tribute to the outstanding lensmasters who have created the cream -- also known as Lens of the Day and Purple Star. This is not meant to be a definitive list of the LOTD or Purple Star winners but rather our selected favorites. These are the lenses that inspire us!

I began my collection with five lensmasters who were among my initial "Cream of Squidoo" group back in the day. I have followed the work of all five for years and am impressed beyond words. They are all extremely worthy of the title "Cream of Squidoo" as they have all received both LOTD and Purple Star trophies.First skimming
Selecting my favorite lens from among so many award-winning lenses was not easy but worth the effort! All lensmasters aspiring to win their own LOTD or Purple Stars could do well to study these winners.

I have received Purple Stars for these lenses and to be honest I had not done significant work on all of these prior to the award was received so I'm not sure how much hard work is a factor and how much is simply tickling the fancy of someone on a Purple Star Quest for the next Purple Star lens.
