This is a very complicated situation that you find yourself in. An awesome explaination of the predicament can be found by following the "Why Is Recovery So Hard? link at the top of this page. It is difficult reading, but well worth it.
Aside from that, the answer is simple, but difficult to put into action. If you truely are not an addict yourself, you still need help. You should find local Alanon meetings and go right away. If you think you may be an addict, most crack smokers are, find an NA or AA meeting and go TODAY! You have no control over your boyfriend. You can only do what you can do. Ask God to open the right door for you and ask for the strength to walk through it when it opens. I wish you well Lynn.

I am going through a depressing state right now. My boyfriend for 15 years has been smoking crack cocaine almost 20 years. I really did'nt think was real bad until we moved together, we now have 2 children and our relationship has really change. he has gotten very self center. And I was no longer feeling love for him. But I still stuck by him. And then my life became a bore I am unemployed, my bills started accumalating. So i got stress out then i started indulging. and I have been doing it with him for about 1 year but I am very tired and I need a way out because when he's not around I don't even think about it. I need help and I need it right now I am a believer in God and I know he has the answers for me. But I need a word of advice from someone else that might be in a simular situation.

Smoking weed does have a strong influence over our spirit. Almost all of the time when are high it feels pleasant and peaceful, but it is a deceptive illusion with the intent of covering or blocking the good spiritual powers which guide our life in the direction of God's plan for our life
The spiritual influence of being high guides you so that you are unknowningly and willing traveling in this negative direction. Even though we may feel at peace while under the drug, sometimes it makes us more likely to consciously sin. But either way being under the influece steers us out of God's plan.
Smoking weed and other addictions damages our life. We cant deny that. Most people are not even aware of the spiritual forces that making us more vulnerable to spiritual influences. Be aware its a battle of principalities and powerss.
It is true when they say life gets harder when one puts faith into action but its a test to affirm ones true devotion. God's plan is the best plan.
