Save our world, for the next generations to come, they will thank you.

I am English and live in Bavaria, Germany. My main website is at www.perob.com This site is well worth a visit for the extensive range of information available. Global warming, carbon footprints and CFC omissions, nitrates in our water and lead in our water, flooding and extreme weather and a billion poly bags are too many. Nuclear waste and the burning of fossil fuels, the loss of rainforests and the poisoning of nature from the waste we leave behind us where ever we go. And then there are GM foods and landfill - the list seems endless. And lets face it, climate change is happening now, not in a hundred or a thousand years. 70% of the current world population will still be alive in 2050, and will be facing the results of what they do today, tomorrow and every day in the future.

In many cases the facts seem to contradict each other. What we need is action but where and how? Good intentions are not enough. Where do we go?

We have to take care of our world and environment NOW. Don't just leave it to the politicians. If you have time, please visit my environmental pages at Climate Change

Al Gore

We would like to congratulate Al Gore for winning the 2007, Nobel Peace prize. He and his team have made a big impact on how people now view and consider climat change.

Are you doing everything you can? Have you cut out an un-nessary journey, recycled, insulated your home, etc etc.? The list is enless of what you can do.

Climate Change ideas, worth checking out.

Can a new idea help that would benefit most countries and make change more likely? After Copenhagen could there be another way?If countries wanted to reduce CO2, because there was something in for them, would they?

Protect the environment

Environmental issues

Are you worried about saving the environment? Maybe you are an environmentalist? There are many words used for this topic, conservation, sustainability, global warming, recycling, save the planet, carbon emissions etc.

Naturally pollution is also a major world problem. Too much waste, made from oil based products, non- biodegradable is polluting our world. Remember, all of this adds upto CLIMATE CHANGE in your lifetime.

Add your environmental links to this group and help save the planet.

Using the Squidoo Bookmarklet, I have found this additional information which is very useful.

[in reply to GetFactsnotHype] Very interesting article, I followed up many of your links. Seems like there needs to be more environmental control and licensing. Water tests need to be done by the EPA before permission is given, during drilling. Compensation needs to be draconian.

I've written more than one article for more than one company on environmental topics. However, here on Squidoo, I have 4 lenses on the subject. 3 are more of a positive slant on going-green, while one is from a NOT-green standpoint.

That latter one is my "baby" because I kinda treat it like it is a blog OR mini-website, always staying on top of the same specific issue when new data is released.

In fact that is one you should read, because it is not only an American issue, but a worldy one, and the U.K. has had some articles on in recently. I tried to warn fellow UK'ers and other Europeans awhile back, so they would NOT have the same plight as America. It is not in the living green section or sub-section though. Thank you for this group. I just found a home for my favorite new lens, "Marlow, N. H., Third Person Rural" about the efforts of one small town in New Hampshire (USA) to maintain its rural character and its ecosystem. I am grateful for a welcoming place for the lens.
