A Squidoo lens is a wonderful (and free) way to showcase your creations, or simply tell the word about your favorite shops.
You may create your own lenses to promote your shop, your creations, or design a fun Etsy fan site. Lenses are very easy to make and you don't need any special skills.
If you already have a an Etsy lens, please feel free to add it to our group. We'd love to meet you!

I've had 2 unsuccessful business; just me of course. The first one was Custom Fitting Designs. Customers would provide me with fabric and I would sew it together. At the time, I just got out of the Army and I lacked the knowledge and experience.
The second experience was machine embroidery. I embroidered names on shirts; though I still do it but on a small scale. It was only me again. I had one main customer
Both business had 1 thing in common: they were both done locally. In my area, everyone wants everything free. I don't deal with that well.
One night I stumbled the website Stumble. I found Etsy. For years I was looking for something like this. I has sold my hamdmad items on Ebay, but it mostly tailors to manufatured resell goods. I wasn't going to make it here. That same night, I signed for an Etsy account. This reaches a world market. And craft show prices are welcome here. Beleive me. Etsy opened a huge door for me. I will never go back. Please don't ever remove Etsy!
