What an exciting group!

Just last month I was published in Aquarium Fish International (the only female contributing author in October) and I've been a fish nut all my life. I love reading and writing about all types of aquariums.

I've bred clownfish and aquacultured coral, starfish, and saltwater detritivores. My favorite fish is my porcupine puffer, Porky, who is like a little puppy in a fish tank.

I'm enjoying exploring the lenses in this group!

James, right now I'm only selling fish to friends or family. I do know that two of the local fish stores are interested in some of my fish - the cories mainly, if I breed them.

Since we haven't got fry yet, I haven't discussed the details.

I have heard that you usually don't get paid to much for the fish, and that some stores will only give you store credit.

I've also heard that it's polite to add a few extra free fish for the fish store in case any of the fish die.

Discus are pretty cool, and if you look around for long enough you might find a good deal!

Greetings fellow fish freaks! I raise and sell angelfish and completely love them! I also have a very understanding husband as I've got close to 150gallons worth of tanks in our bedroom...lol Just wait till we get our new house built! *rubs hands together* :) In response to the post by James, try selling on craig's list in your area, I've got three local pet stores that buy mine and sell on aquabid!:)

Wow actually I was reading the blurb above. How is it being a fish breeder do you get a good income doing that? Who do you sell to and how do you deliver the fish. By the way Discus fish are very cool, but a bit out of my price range right now.

Hello I wrote a article on Swordtails and I stated that they are really easy to keep. I am glad to hear if anyone has an opinion on which fish is easiest for newbie fish tank lovers.
