I've been playing around with GIMP and a few others for about a year, but I just haven't quite got the hang of it yet. I know what I want to do by seeing it in my mind but get frustrated when I can't figure out how to do the technical part to make it that way. I suppose it is like when I compose a song - I can hear what I want, but getting the song into my instruments or written down can take a little more effort.
Thank you for leading me to these tutorials from you and many talented Squids. They look wonderful! I will definitely go through them carefully until I catch on and am able to do it. :-D
