The Wonder of Girls

This group is for parents of girls and anyone else dedicated to raising happy, intelligent, creative, beautiful, empowered girls.

Because different people have different definitions of "empowered," this group will accept lenses written from both feminist and Christian (or other religious or traditional) perspectives, as long as they celebrate the joy and wonder of girls.

NO adult or spam lenses allowed. This group is moderated.

I haven't written my first 'girl power' (so to speak) lens however I did want to poke my head in the door and say how extremely important I think self-esteem is in the life of young women and teenage girls. I'll be writing a lens about this before too long but thought I'd attach my National Alert Registry (NAR Registry) lens in the meantime. Self esteem and confidence are extremely important in self defense and preparedness.

My Wife, she has lots of patience with our 2 daughters.

I think lots of husbands everywhere take for granted having thier wives take the bulk of child raising. I know mothers play a very active role in providing the needed care and attention children need. So Cheers to moms everywhere.
