part 4.. by the way my inlaws who live with me are die hard catholics, father inlaw is a deacon and mother inlaw prays to some saint every day for one person or another for one reason or another, my wife has said her child hood was horrible because her parents gave their life to the church and didnt support her or her two other siblings in growing up or activies or even go to see their children play in sports and they have said recently they were not wrong in that, but my wife holds great amount of resentment for this fact, but yet she doesnt want to disappointed her folks , so we had to get marriered in a church, we had to baptism our kids, they have to do the catholic sacraments thing, all the while we had a shotgun wedding and live for 5 months together before we were married, we had sex, she had sex with others, but yet we have to do the things religion says, and i try to agree to make a peaceful living but i dont understand why my kids have to be force to to do this stuff....

part 3, i have been married for 7 years to a catholic women who i love more than anything but she says our kids need to go to catholic school need to go to church to have and learn faith, and be spiritually active, all the while i can count on my hand how many times she has gone to church while weve been together, i mean i know right from wrong, i know it good to be good to others, be respectful of elders, treat people as you want to be treated, and i didnt learn that from going to church or believing in something nobody can show me facts apond, sure religions can guide you and let you learn some of the qualities of human kindness that you should live by , but i dont understand why you need to devote yourself to one being (a GOD) just because a book says so or your grandparents said so. isnt all religions some sort of cult worshiping not all good or bad, but the popular religious groups try to squash smaller cult or religions because they are fearful of numbers ...

part 2, i am a sports fan and enjoy most sports but i never understood why the athletes would always praise god for the winning tuchdown, walk off home run, buzzer beater last second goals, they always said god had a part in that or if it wasnt for god it would never have happened, all the while i am thinking well why not thank your team mate or give yourself some credit for making the unbelievable final second shot or the catch of a lifetime in the end zone. i just cant figure it out, but they never give the god the credit for making the player drop the ball, miss the final second shot, fumble the ball, interception striking out, i mean they can piont to the sky all they want after a great play , but to be true wouldnt you stick the middle finger up in the sky if you failed on that final play, or the fumble, i dont know what to believe in i think it is a nice idea to have faith, but should you have most faith in yourself, give yourself credit for your achievements...

im new at this, dont know if im right or wrong, it all started out when i was 5 or 6 yr old, i was shipped off to grandparents for sat nite into Sunday mornings, my gmom was a hardcore baptist as was my aunt who was a missionary for over 25 years, i was made to go to church and Sunday school where i slightly remember be taught the stories in the bible, unfortunately for my family i had a horrible time dealing with the clothes and then when in sunday school i would ask those question about the bible stories that the teachers didnt want to answer or like to hear especially from a 6 year old, then all i remember is my sisters would be taken to the grandparents and i would stay home with my parents, i either was accepted or they were fed up with my tantrum about the dress code, which to this day i still have issues with dress clothes, it wasnt until later in my years i became aware of what i was thinking and not thinking or believing..
