Hi, looks like I've joined a lively and informative group. I'm fairly new to Squidoo and my lens FluFighters is getting lots of comments and views. It's about 2 weeks old and is rapidly climbing in lensrank I hope you will stop by and look it over. Would appreciate any comments that you may have. There's a very funny video on the site - a skit by Royal Canadian Air Farce about what goes into the flu shot.

Cheers
Diana

I'm so glad I've been included in this group! I am new to Squidoo, and have just created a lens on Proton Beam Therapy, and its use in treating Prostate Cancer...as well as many other types of tumours. I have a personal story in regards to this, and feel blessed to be able to share it here on Squidoo, and hope it will serve to help many other people. There are many ways to treat Prostate Cancer, and Proton Beam Therapy is painless and has very few side effects. Covered by insurance, and has been around for many years, and yet probably won't be your doctor's first choice in treatment options...not sure why, as there is plenty of data to back up its effectiveness. I believe in being well informed, and not following blindly along when something is suggested.....read for yourself on my lens 'Prostate Cancer Treatment of the Century!'

I just published my lens Affordable Health & Dental Plans. I absolutely believe in people taking care of their health & dental needs. There are millions of Americans who don't have dental coverage so they don't get the care that they need. I believe people should never go without their care. Staying healthy should be one of the number one things in a persons life. Having a healthy smile should be very important as well as it's the first thing someone see's when you speak. I completely believe people shouldn't go without health and dental care and should take care of themselves the best that they can. Life is so important. You only have one!
