This is a group for parents (or simply people who love kids) that would like to share kid stories that make you smile and laugh. Tender moments also allowed. :)
You can also visit:
Kids R Kool which is an individual lens on the same subject and post stories there.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Post Your Kids Stories!

We have always told our kids the true story of Santa, that is, that he was a real man named Nicholas and died a long time ago, but people loved what he did so much they kept telling stories about it and kept his memory alive. So we celebrate Santa and bring presents and everything but ... once at a restaurant a perky waiter asked our 4yo what Santa was bringing her and she looked him straight in the eye, perfectly deadpan face, and said, "Santa. Is. Dead." The poor guy nearly swallowed his tongue.
Thanks for adding my new Twitterstorm "Kids Are Cute!" to this great group!

Well, just yesterday, as I was sitting in the living room chair I saw my 21mon. old roll a ball (purposely I believe) under the tv stand. Then he went and fetched the broom. He got down on the floor, put the stick end under the tv stand and "drum roll please"...produced the vanishing ball! I was amazed at his cleverness but I knew he probably didn't come up with it himself. I told my husband about it and he said he (my husband) has done it before and Jack apparently learned it from him. Oh, after retrieving the ball Jack then got on the broom and tried to ride it away. I think my husband may have taught him that trick too!

My 4 year old was sitting on the toilet one day and I walked by and heard him singing "I grew up in new jersey bom bom bom bom" in a blues rift.
Interesting considering we've lived in florida all his life.
This guy is a riot !

One day my 3 year old son asked "Is God gonna put wings on us when we go to heaven, and then take them off when we get there?"

When my daughter was 5 we had gone to grandmas house. My mother had rearranged her furniture that day before arriving, moving her couch from infront of the window to a nearby wall. As we stepped into the livingroom my daughter asked "grandma who moved the window"? We still laugh about that one!

After getting pulled over by a policeman, my son scolded him as he walked up to the window - "We're TRYING to get to Kansas!" When the policeman walked back to the car to issue my ticket, my son asked what he was doing. I said that he was giving me a ticket. My son replied, "Where's MY ticket?"
