Getting a reader to stay and read the enteriety of your lens is a daunting task. No matter how hard you try when your topic is not "IN", your lens traffic will always suffer. So this time I asked my panel of judges (now reduced to two) to select a lensmaster that has crafted a lens that glues the reader to read from introduction to comment box.

The judges listed three lensmasters, 2 giants and MysticMama. It was MysticMama's flash burn lens that sealed the decision. That lens completely got the attention of the judges.

Sooner or later in our lives we will without fail face a challenge that would seem like the end of the world. Yet no matter how hard they maybe... we will always pull through. MysticMama's flashburn lens clearly brings these emotions from her heart into the words and into the life of the reader. This is the very reason why the lens instantly captures any reader. Just by reading... the reader is taking part in Bambi's life. Two things happen... the reader gains strength from Bambi's experience and Bambi gets the support. Now that is a lens worth reading. No wonder its in the top 150 lenses in Squidoo Land. That is what I call Lensmaster of the Day material.

Her lens also shows a very innovative way of using polaroids. Most of us use the polaroid module this way: a) pick a picture b)put a small caption c)save the module. Boring! But not MysticMama... she did a little retouching on the images before loading it into the polaroid. She included a border a few words... out comes a picture story. Take a look at a snapshot at the right. Those are polaroids and by just looking at them you can see her story unfolding. Fantastic.

Golden nuggets learned from MysticMama:

1. A Drama in Real Life when told from the heart attracts readers.
2. Polaroids with a little bit of retouching can effectively tell a story. Do not limit yourself to its captions.
