This is an extremely valuable resource for the artists on Squidoo - I am not one of them sadly, although I am a dab hand at scenery painting :o) However, both my girls are good at art so I may bring them back when we are in "painting mode". Thank you
Oh my gosh - the security word for this post is "create"!!!!!!

I have been on your mailing list for Making a Mark, for a couple of months now, just lurking and reading, and loving all the info you give out. It will be so cool to access all this from one bookmark. Because I am not great with technology, I keep losing stuff that I need to keep, so I am thrilled with this. I am in the process of trying to set up my own blog, and then a website for my art, having recently moved to the USA from South Africa, and trying to get established as an artist. It's tough for me to figure out all this technology stuff, (old dogs, new tricks etc.)but I find your information really helpful, so I hope to get the blog going SOON!
I really enjoyed the post you did on art supplies for the USA, the photo of the art store you illustrated the piece with looked so familiar, then I realized it was right here in San Clemente, my new home, far away from South Africa. When I visited the store, they told me you had done a workshop there.
Many Thanks
