The island of Malta is unique. Situated in the southern part of the Mediterranean it is steeped in history which goes back 7000 years. For it's heroic roll in the 2nd World War, The Island and it's people were awarded the George Cross from King George the 6th for bravery. This group is all about Malta and it's people and visitor Lenses. I had a wonderful 2 week holiday and find the people, some of the friendliest in the world.

I visited Malta in October 2006 and enjoyed my visit very much. The Maltese are some of the friendliest I have every met. This Lens is dedicated to the people of Malta.
