1. Good MLM consultant keep their track record available for any kind of inspection by a future client. Their accomplishment will speak to themselves. However, it is very important to check what they have done not what they said they have done. Ask if they have some clients you could talk to.
2. Check for a solid credentials they have that would warrant you spending money with them. These credential includes, the kind of education about MLM they have, experience in network marketing, if they have the right business experience, if they ever run a business before and the kind of degree they have. MLM consultants have a portfolio to show you, ask and study it.
3. In any field of consulting professionalism is a must. Evaluate their professionalism, do they come and speak as a professional, study how they handle themselves and other people, study their manner of returning phone calls, do they keep their phone and prepare for the appointment, are they honest and with integrity. These questions will tell a good MLM consultant and how they handle things for the future endeavor of your business.
4. Make sure that the question they are asking is focused on moving forward not just creating a conversation. There are consultant that ask question as a part of being consultant. Remember, that you are looking to hire them to solve the problem not of being a consultant. MLM consultant are not cheap and if you are going to spend money, make sure they will value your money.
5. Make sure that the MLM consultant you are hiring for has an experience with the MLM field. Experience working in an MLM company in some form is a must. It is the prove that MLM consultant really understand the flow of the business.
