Criteria for this Group:

What you need to do to have a lens featured at the National Parks Group

The National Parks Group isn't just any old group. It's a collection of well-made, informative, and original National Parks lenses on Squidoo. These will educate, help in trip planning, and entertain. To maintain great quality in the group, here's what lensmasters need to do:

* No default titles on modules like "new guestbook" or "great stuff on amazon."

* The lens be focused on National Parks. If there is a casual mention on the lens of a National Park, that won't do.

* The lens must have an introduction photo with completed bio and bio picture uploaded.

* The more pictures the better! Readers want to see the park and read about it.

Thanks for inviting me to the group. I love National Parks and had a hard time choosing just one as a favorite. Probably tops would be Zion for me as well, though Yosemite is a close runner up.

[in reply to WuksachiStaff] Zion is one of the best places in the U.S., in my own opinion, to visit. It was one place where I was truly intrigued and amazed at the beauty, maybe even more than the Grand Canyon. If I had to pick an all time favorite National Park, mine would be Zion. Someday I'd like to wade the Narrows of the Virgin River. I made the short hike up to the end of the walking trail, but I didn't have the proper equipment to go any further.

Hi Kiwi,

Not sure if I have a favorite, but Grand Canyon has always really impressed me, as has Zion and Bryce. My dad and I hiked the Angel's Landing trail in Zion back when I was about 15, and although I have since developed a severe fear of heights (not due to that particular trail) I remember that being one of the most awesome experiences in my life up to that point. (Oh, thanks for inviting me to the group btw!)[in reply to kiwisoutback]
