To quote Whole Earth Catalog founder Stewart Brand: "Good old National Geographic."
Any lens featuring books, DVDs, videos, software, or other materials from the National Geographic Society are welcome. I hear they even publish a magazine.

Group Discussion
I've set the anti-spam shield to "on" (for now) so you will have to wait for your comments to be approved. When the sign-up frenzy subsides, I'll probably relax that.
As a long-time fan of National Geographic, I was glad to discover this group. Perhaps looking at all those great photos and stories influenced my dream to become a national park ranger - a career which I was fortunate to enjoy for 30 years. Hope you have a great 2007!

When I was a youngster, my grandparents had a 30 year collection of National Geographic magazines. I spent many an hour enjoying those great articles and photos. Perhaps that helps explain why I grew up to become a national park ranger and later a writer, and why I enjoy photography as a hobby.

Be sure to tag your (on-topic) lens "national geographic" When we collectively reach the magic number -- about 70 -- "national geographic" will appear in the tag cloud, and we'll all get a nice traffic boost! (Googling "National Geographic site:squidoo.com" turns up about 900 pages.)
