Why not use the Squid Sports and start making some predictions? Add them to Hockey World Headquarters and it will get Featured Status if it is a great lens.

Greatest Moments in Stanley Cup History

NHL:
Greatest Moments in Stanley Cup History

The 7th game of the Stanley Cup Finals is like getting the perfect Christmas Gift: it seems like the big day takes forever to get there, but when it does, it's well worth the wait.

In total, the Stanley Cup Finals have gone the distance only 14 times. Now you can relive all those exciting winner-take-all Game 7s in one great collection!

From Game 7 between Jacques Lemaire's Montreal Canadiens versus the Chicago Blackhawks in 1971, to the New York Rangers ending their 54 year Stanley Cup drought against the Vancouver Canucks in 1994, to Carolina's Game 7 victory over the Edmonton Oilers in 2006, this compelling collection is something every hockey fan and historian will want to re-live over and over again!

Full Stanley Cup Finals Game 7s to be included in Collection:
Edmonton Oilers vs. Philadelphia Flyers (1987)
New York Rangers vs. Vancouver Canucks (1994)
Colorado Avalanche vs. New Jersey Devils (2001)
New Jersey Devils vs. Anaheim Mighty Ducks (2003)
Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Calgary Flames (2004)
Carolina Hurricanes vs. Edmonton Oilers (2006)

The Best NHL Team Lenses

We need to get more Team Lenses! There are 30 teams in the NHL, and even more in the other hockey leagues out there. What's going on with your local club? Hey, if you can put together a great lens about your pickup hockey league, submit it!

Hockey is not just about the pros!

New Fresh Lenses

These are the latest lenses to have been accepted into Hockey World Headquarters. Stop by and leave a comment so the lensmaster will know what you think.

Top Rookies

Do you have a lens about any rookies playing this year in the NHL? Heres's a couple. Stamkos is picked to get the Calder Trophy already and the season has barely begun. Brunnstrom started his rookie season with a hat trick in his first game (that's 3 goals in one game for those of you who might not know).

Some Sports Artwork

Take a look at Rick's art. Quite nice.

Got Tickets? Here's Some Lenses That Will Help If You Don't

If you haven't got tickets to a hockey game, you can find them here. Also, both of these lenses have a lot of good info about their teams. Take a look.

Are You Looking For Great Hockey Jerseys and Apparel?

You can get Habs jerseys with Richard, Dryden, Roy, Koivu on the back. Or you can get one with YOUR name.

NHL Overtime Heroes and Drama of the Stanley Cup Playoffs

Heroes and Drama of the Stanley Cup Playoffs

(Vintage Hockey Collection)

From Bobby Orr to Wayne Gretzky and Mark Messier, from the playoffs opening round to the Stanley Cup finals, here is a revealing chronicle of the game's most remarkable moments and incredible victories told in the heroes' own words:

Messier's hat trick that brought home the Stanley Cup to the Rangers after more than half a century.

The Montreal Canadiens unprecedented 10 straight overtime victories that propelled them to their 24th championship.

The Great One's game-winning overtime goal that sent the L.A. Kings to their first Stanley Cup appearance. And much more.

Filled with non stop action and pulse-pounding drama, this thrilling chronicle is destined to become a legend of its own.

Who Was The Best NHL Goalie?

In no particular order, here are some of the greatest goalies to have played the game. I know, I know, you favorite goaltender isn't listed. Why not make a tribute lens for your favorite goalie, join this group and I'll feature it here.

Hockey's Golden Era: Stars of the Original Six

by Mike Leonetti

Hockey's Golden Era
(Stars of the Original Six)

"When the Brooklyn Americans dropped out of the National Hockey League for the 1942-43 season, it left six teams to compete for the Stanley Cup."

The Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Maple Leafs, New York Rangers, Detroit Red Wings and the Chicago Blackhawks are the members of that elite group of NHL teams that played from the early 1940s until the league expanded in 1967.

The stars who played during the Original Six era included future Hall of Famers like Howe, Richard, Beliveau, and Hull just to name a few. This book throws the spotlight on these great players and many, many more.

Why Not Make A Prediction?

Who Is Going To Win What?

Will the Montreal Canadiens win the Cup this year? Will Detroit repeat?

What Do You Think About What's Going On In The NHL?

Brodeur is back and even after missing 50 games it looks like he hasn't missed a beat. Ovechkin is leading the goal scoring derby by a wide margin.

Who is surprising you and who's been a major disappointment?

It looks like a lot of groups are dispanding and Hockey World Headquarters is not going down without a fight! We have the top hockey lens at Squidoo, and I think it can be even better. We will not dispand and the only way to stop us from making this The Top Group on Squidoo, is to force it to close.

Personally, I am making more hockey lenses and I encourage YOU to make some more too. Do you have a local hockey team? Why not do a lens about them? What about your Olympic hockey team? And just because you live in the States, doesn't mean you can have a Squidoo lens supporting Team Sweden, Norway or Germany! What about the womens' teams?

Let's get busy -- it's the season of the playoffs!

I'm loving the Bruins so far! They just whupped the Habs 6-1 and they're goalies are the best tagteam in the league. But for the best goalie so far? Gotta be Roberto Luongo. Another 3 game shutout streak and he made it to the third period of the 4th game before allowing a goal.
