THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN ONES LIFE!! A Grandchild!!

THE MOST PRECIOUS THING IN ANYONES LIFE: your first grandson!! They are without a dout one of the most inocent things, but satisfying thing in a persons life. If you are not a Grandparent yet, Just wait you will know my feelings about them! I just can't say enough about my grandbaby, without sounding like he is the only grandson in the world (he is I think). I think that I love him more than my daughter, that is hard to say but, I don't have a son, (so my daughter gave me one) so I think I can say it (i hope) without hurting anyones feelings.

And that is just a start of the Ice Cream trivia. Once I started looking on the internet I was surprised at all of the fact I did not know. I know that I do like it my self, alot!!!

One start which is where I got my facts and it is also a very good link for Grandparents for a lot more very interesting ideas to do;

Spend some time watching a movie with your Grandchild!

Amazon does have a great selection of Family movies!!

My Grandson is now 3 years old (yes it's been a while since I worked on this lens, I've been playing). There are times when you just can't go outside because of the weather, or some other problem like being sick, (him or myself). So I pop in a movie and we both set and enjoy our time together!! Some time it is hard to get him to set and watch the whole thing, but he is getting better. The important thing is , is that we are spending time together. Just like any Grandparent wants to!

PROUD GRAND PARENTS

The Greatest thing in the world!!

I guess I can't say it enough! It's so nice to spoil them and give them back knowing that will be back to spoil some more!! I made the mistake of taking him on my 4 wheeler, and now every time he see me he goes "Broom Broom". He does know all the things to do to start it but is not strong enough to do it YET! Hopefully I will teach him enough about it before he sneaks out with the keys (I keep them in a safe and protected spot) and tries it by him self! We did get him some horses (mini) that should keep him from thinking so much about it (hopefully). We do live in the country so yes there is many things that he can do and get in trouble with, so he will be a handful, he will be helping Grandpa soon any way.
Some good Ideas
This site is a good site for a number of things. One should at least take a look at it. It has things like what you can do with your grandchild, what kind of food is good for them and suggestions on when to feed them things like, foods with no sugar or juice before you put them to bed.

Being a push-over grandparent.

Tell us how it was or is with your first grandchild!!

Let every one know your feelings when you had your first grandchild. Let us know how easy it was not to be a push-over. I know that I am not the only one out there!! Be honest please.
I think you might like to keep coming back and checking these comments out I think that there are going to be some very interesting and funny ones. I try to think that they will not surprise me but..............

A WONDERFUL addition to a very grateful Grandma &Grandpa!!!!!!!!

What a wounderful world we have.

Lets keep it that way so that hopefully our Grandchildren will enjoy it!!

I think back when I was young and remember all of the thing I have done and did not appreciate or took for granted at that time. I some time think what it is going to be like when my grandchild gets to be older, is he going to be able to do or see the things I have done or seen myself? How much the world will change all I keep hoping for is that it will still be a good place to be and live in. With all of of things going on in our world now it makes me feel as though the younger generations will not get a chance to see the finer things in life like our grandparents did, sure in there day things were harder, but they enjoyed them and didn't take much for granted. They lived off what they could grow or raised on there piece of ground and did not leave much of a footprint on the environment.

I was going though "Mother Nature Network" and I did see a phrase in an article that hit the nail on the head and heard it often when I was younger and never thought much of it then, but it does make sense now.

---Green wisdom----

Our grandparents (or great-grandparents) - children of the Great Depression - could teach us a thing or two about going green on a budget. "Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without," recalled one elderly woman when asked about what she learned as a child during the Great Depression.

Their carbon footprint was uber-small - they used less water, less fuel, created less waste and imported fewer goods than we do. They took these actions out of necessity as opposed to our modern-day desire to help the planet, but the ecological impact is just as powerful.

Here are seven lessons we can borrow from our elders that are easy on the wallet, and have significant environmental impact. Perhaps more importantly, they are easy to implement and relevant to our modern lifestyles - no extolling the virtues of riding a horse to work! (Text: Heather Gunther)
Photobucket It is true "ALL DOGS DO GO TO HEAVEN!"

It's just to bad that we all don't take this problem more seriously so that all of our future generations can enjoy the world as we know it!

I will put the link for "Mother Nature Network" on this lens so if you are interested! It does have some very interesting articles to read.
Such as, Life styles, Earth matters, Health, Green tech, Eco-Biz & Money, Food & Drink, Your Home, and Family. This is a good web site and I think it should be looked at, you might just agree with me.

Have you tried photographing dragonflies? Turns out they're challenging beasts to catch on film...check out this guide (and amazing photos) to learn how. http://tinyurl.com/MNNDrag%u200Bonfly

Yes me and little Dude sit and watch the Dragon flies (he does not like dragon flies or spiders), Spiders, Ants, he really does like worms, I can't even dig a hole for plants or flowers because he wants all the worms that he can see , so it takes about 1/2 hour to plant one plant!

1. Men in Black 3 - $54.5M
The Men in Black are back, and this time Agent J (Will Smith) must take a trip into the past in order to save both the future and his taciturn partner Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) in the third installment of the hit sci-fi comedy series. After 15 years of working with aliens from all across the cosmos, Agent J is sure he's seen it all. But just when he's getting the hang of the game, he learns that history has inexplicably been rewritten. In this new timeline of events, Agent K has been dead for 40 years, and Earth will soon come under attack from an extraterrestrial force with the power to claim the entire planet. Now, in order to set the past straight and head off an invasion of epic proportions, Agent J must travel back to the year 1969, when Young Agent K (Josh Brolin) was just a fresh new face on the force. But Agent J only has 24 hours to find the source of the coming catastrophe and discern how his longtime partner ties into the situation -- should he fail he'll be stuck in the past forever. Jemaine Clement, Alice Eve, and Emma Thompson co-star. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
2. Marvel's The Avengers - $36.6M
Marvel Studios delivers the ultimate comic-book film, which ties together such characters as Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) for a big-screen franchise team-up like no other. Taking center stage this time is Nick Fury (played once again by the note-perfect Samuel L. Jackson), leader of the peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Fury, along with former Russian spy Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), recruits a super team to combat Thor's ever-deceptive brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) after he brainwashes ace archer Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) while stealing a cosmic cube from an underground base. Thus the heroes must learn to work together alongside outlaw scientist Bruce Banner (Ruffalo), who can track down the artifact's gamma signals when he's not hulking out into a giant green monster. Show runner Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly) adapted and helmed the script by Zak Penn. ~ Jeremy Wheeler, Rovi
3. Battleship - $11.0M
Milton Bradley's enduringly popular strategic board game makes the leap to the big screen in Hancock director Peter Berg's epic sci-fi adventure pitting an international naval fleet against an army of invading aliens. When the two forces find themselves evenly matched, each must rely on strategy and cunning in order to emerge the victor. Taylor Kitsch and Alexander Skarsgard head-up a cast also featuring Liam Neeson, Rihanna, Brooklyn Decker, and Tadanobu Asano. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
4. The Dictator - $9.2M
Comic Sacha Baron Cohen re-teams with director Larry Charles (Borat, Bruno) for this satirical tale of an oppressive, democracy-hating dictator and a goatherder (both played by Cohen) whose misadventures in America lead to a series of outrageous culture clashes. Anna Faris, Ben Kingsley, and Curb Your Enthusiasm's J.B. Smoove co-star. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
5. Chernobyl Diaries - $7.9M
An extreme vacation turns terrifying when a group of friends visit the Chernobyl disaster site, and learn that some nightmares never die. Conceived and produced by Paranormal Activity's Oren Peli, Chernobyl Diaries gets underway as six thrill-seeking tourists hire a fearless tour guide, and travel to the abandoned Ukrainian city of Pripyat. Back when the Chernobyl nuclear reactor was up and running, Pripyat was the place the workers called home. But 25 years after one of the worst power-plant accidents in history, the city serves as an eerily silent testament to the dangers of nuclear power. Later, after getting unexpectedly stranded in Pripyat, the tourists and their guide realize they are being hunted. Now the harder they try to flee, the faster their numbers dwindle until only a few are left standing. Only then will the unspeakable terror that stalks these deserted streets finally emerge from the shadows to launch one last relentless, terrifying attack. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
