The poetry group

Poetry has the key to our hearts. It just flows like the wind in a forest and whispers beautiful words to every soul willing to embrace them. Let's bring more poetry to the world!

I have set up this group with the intention of gathering together poetry from all over the world. If your lens is related to poetry, please feel free to join us! All the languages are welcomed :-)

Welcome to Flowing with Poetry!

Taking off!

I would like to give a warm welcome to all our lensmasters. Thank you for joining!

This group is taking off today, October 4th 2006. I wish it'll become a great meeting place for poets from all over the world, and also anyone interested in poetry.

In a world full of pain and problems, poetry shines as a little ray of hope, to join all the human beings through a chain of inspiration and love.

Please, introduce yourself here!

I would like to get to know our group members. Please, tell us a short intro about you when you join, or at anytime you like.

Writing poetry in a foreign language

Writing poems in a language that is not your own is usually a difficult task, unless you dominate the language very well and are able to think in it.

Let's talk!

This is a place to talk about anything related to poetry. You can also share any of your poems, or promote your poetry lens. If you don't write poetry but enjoy reading it, you can tell us which poets are your favourite ones, what style or anything you would like to comment on.

Please, don't be shy and let's converse! :-)

I run a part-funded project, to encourage young poets all over the world. It's called Playground Poets and I am now receiving poems from children everywhere. Anyone who can help me to improve my lens or my service, is welcome. The link is www.squidoo.com/playgroundpoets
