Hello. We failed our first forstering and kept her (Lexi) and now we foster one more at a time. LOVE it. These are some of the best dogs.
Check out our squidoo page: All about Greyhounds

Thanks,

What a wonderful group idea! Our rescued pets and their owners need support. The 4 dog behavior specialists my team and I selected for Dog Behavior and Dog Training Review can each help. In fact, I believe each has had rescued dogs personally. (In our research, we discovered that one, DogWhisperWoman, has even saved some rescued dogs from euthanasia and rehabilitated them when other dog trainers said it was impossible.)
I have owned rescued dogs, too, and while each had issues to be addressed, each became a wonderful, loving pet. I'm so glad I gave them a new chance at life and love - and they did that for me, too!

I adopted my greyhound Sparky in October 2007. My husband died in April of the same year and I felt like I wanted to have a dog in my life to keep me company. Sparky is the most lovely, laid back, gentle dog I have ever known. She was 7 years old went I adopted her, having raced until 2004, when she was sent to Ireland to breed. She had a litter of pups in 2005 and a litter in 2006, she was then brought back to England and went into kennels, which is where I got her from. I am so glad I adopted her. She has been so good for me. She gives me a lovely greeting when I get home from work. She sleeps on my bed with me, which I love! I do spoil her, but hey why not. She deserves it. I hope to have lots more years with her, she is the best dog I have ever known. And I love her to bits.
