PS: Rabbits are not Rodents

Rabbits are Lapins

Rabbits and hares are often (ignorantly) classified as rodents. In truth, they are in their own class, the lapin. Lapins are differentiated from rodents in essence by their basic skull structure. While rodents have large incisors on their bottom jaw, the lapin's larger incisors are on the upper jaw. The lapins are classified as such, but are recognizable mainly by the fact that they are rabbits.
