Here's what I'm looking for in skin care lenses for women.
If you'd like to submit a lens to this group, please be familiar with these guidelines.I want high-quality, carefully designed, content-rich lenses with plenty of advice and original tips on skin care and beauty for adult women.
Your lens topic must be skin care, women's health, beauty, or another subject of special interest to adult women. I use my own judgment to decide whether a lens is a good fit for this group. (Hint: if your lens is really great and I think our target visitors will find it valuable, I'll probably stretch the relevance criteria a little.)
Your lens must contain useful information that you present in your own words. You must have at least three modules that contain substantial text or text lists.
Also, your lens doesn't need to be full of personal information or tricked out with all sorts of fancy graphics in order to be accepted. I love informative, straightforward pages.
However: if your bio doesn't share anything about you, I'm going to wonder who you are and why you haven't bothered to introduce yourself. So please, satisfy my curiosity! Some questions to consider: where are you in the world? Do you have kids? Cats, dogs? A spouse or life partner? What's your greatest talent? What little things do you do every day that make you feel healthy and attractive?
- Lens topics may include any of the following:
- General how-to guides on skin care practices, women's health and beauty, natural skin care recipes, shopping for skin care and beauty products, etc.
- A single aspect of skin care or beauty, i.e. makeup, natural and organic, inner beauty, fashion, etc.
- Information on a specific skin type or skin condition that is common in adult women. Examples: sensitive skin, mature skin, skin care during pregnancy or menopause, eczema, rosacea, acne, atopic (allergic) dermatitis, psoriasis, or sun damage.
- Promotion of a beauty product or product line. Be careful with this one; do your research and make sure your page has lots of original content. I'm not going to be interested in a lens made up of nothing but affiliate links and product details that you copied and pasted from another site.
