Quick Poll: If lenses don't have sufficient content, should they be removed from the group homepage?
Let me know what you think! My policy is to put every lens on the homepage, unless there are duplicate lenses on the same topic. In that case, I'll go with lensrank and check every few weeks or so.
But what about lenses that don't have much content. Should I keep them on the homepage or leave them in obscurity? When we get up to 11 votes, I'll go with whatever the majority wants!

What does track and field need to get back in the mainstream?
We all know track and field is the greatest sport out there, but why is it so hard for everyone else to realize that? Let's solve this problem once and for all.
AMWhelan wrote...
The fact is it's cool to play football or baseball because they have one arena, they last a specific length of time and they are usually shown on television. It's easy for people to watch them. It's not COOL to be an athlete! When it comes to athletics people aren't willing to put in a little time to try to understand how certain events work (rules, etc.) and they don't feel there's much point waiting around for a particular event when that is all they are interested in. TRACK and FIELD comprises MANY distinct disciplines many of which some viewers will not be interested in.
To put it simply Marathons are boring because they are too long, sprints are over in minutes!
To get back into the mainstream we need more high profile events. I guarantee that in the summer plenty of people will watch the olympic games but what happens after that?
