Today is June 6th 2008 and 66 years ago the largest sea to land invasion occurred on Normandy Beach in France. Going in this battle was known to be a difficult one but JUST how difficult it proved to be no one could have imagined. The Germans laid out everything they had to protect that beach with floating mines, high gunners, snipers and cannons on the cliffs, barbed wire and land mines.
