There are two methods of harvesting cranberries, the wet method and the dry method. The wet method is the most common. It involves flooding the cranberry field with water and allowing the cranberries to float up to the surface. The dry method is just picking them off of the bushes like you do other berries. This can be done in smaller gardens with a few cranberry bushes.

I have never thought about growing cranberries in our garden, although we grow blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries. I wonder how many plants you have to have to make the harvest worth it.

Lots of great antioxidants. I was expecting to see a picture of how they grow near the beginning. Maybe you can find a creative commons one on flickr.

I think it's interesting but I wouldn't do it, since I really don't like them :) I would rather grow something more delish like strawberries!

I think it is a cool idea. Wouldn't be able to do it down here, but it is cool.
