Grow your own organic food

Ranked #15,314 in Healthy Living, #234,890 overall

Growing Your Own Organic Veggies is Healthier for Everyone!

So you want to stop eating that factory food, laden with pesticides, poisons, and pollution from production, but the fresh produce at your local health food store is too dear for you to afford regularly. How do you do that? Grow your own Organic Food!

Organic Veggies are healthier for you and safer for Planet Earth. If done right, growing your own organic veggies uses less water resources, no petrochemical fertilizers, and scrubs more CO2 out of the air than plants grown by factory farming methods. Organic food is denser in nutrients, tastes better, and is surprisingly easy to grow, even if you only have patio space to do so. And, since you'll learn how to compost, you'll be recycling your green waste back into your garden and using it to grow magnificent veggies!

Grow your own organic food, and grow a better world

Growing your own Organic food is healthier for you, and healthier for the planet!

Grow Your Own Organic Veggies, like Joyful Tomatoes! If you grow your own organic food you will not only be reaping health and wellness benefits for yourself and your family, but also helping to make our planet a better place.

Buying organic produce is one solution, but many people find that option to be too pricey for the current budget. But Organic Veggies don't have to be out of reach! Grow your own organic food for pennies on the dollar compared to organic produce purchased at the health food store or supermarket.

It is more important than ever to switch your diet over to organic food. Three types of GMO Corn (genetically modified) have now been tied to Organ Damage. And the Federal Government, in the interest of "Food Safety" is favoring Big Ag over small farms, which will make it that much harder to buy affordable organic food, and will actually hurt our nation's food safety rather than helping it. Over and over again, it's been shown that Big Agriculture is producing unsafe and unhealthy food, with even bigger repercussions such as Bee Colony Collapse, and the Gulf Of Mexico Dead Zone.

Organic growing has benefits way beyond the obvious health and taste benefits. Organic growing is much less water intensive, creates a bigger trap for CO2 in the air which helps mitigate global warming, and since your veggies come from your garden right to your table, there's no foreign oil used in transporting them from a farm halfway across the country (or sometimes the world!) to a packing plant, and then to a distribution center for distribution to your supermarket, and no gas getting it to your kitchen! Birds and bees thrive in places where there are no pesticides used. Creating compost from your green waste will mean less garbage going to the landfill, and your green waste will be recycled by turning it into gold for your garden. And there is just nothing that beats my favorite summertime treat, a red, ripe, juicy tomato!
