Growing Geraniums

Ranked #11,071 in Hobbies, Games & Toys, #152,507 overall

You say Geranium, I say Pelargonium!

The so-called "Geraniums" sold today are really members of the genus Pelargonium. The genus Geranium contains flowers commonly known as "Cranesbills." The cranesbill name derives from the shape of their seeds. Cranesbills are sometimes referred to as "Hardy Geraniums."

I love, love, love geraniums, both scented and traditional. My favorite scent is chocolate mint. I always have several geraniums in my windowsill year round, and in my garden. I also loved your blog, and added it to my Technorati favorites, very nice.
