For the Bath
Soothing and relaxing
Take a handkerchief or piece of cotton fabric about 8" square. Fill with 1/4 cup of dried lavender blooms, bring the corners together and secure the bundle with a rubber band. Tie a ribbon over the rubber band and tie the ends of the ribbon together in bow or knot, forming a loop to hang the bag. Slip over the faucet and position it so the water will run over it as the tub fills. It may be used for several baths, and then the lavender should then be replaced.

- I have never grown lavender, but I remember from childhood it practically grew on its own in the yard out in Davis, CA (in the Central Valley, where it was very hot and dry in the summer, rainy in the winter). Lavender is a "favorite stuff" of life, for me.
