Growing Tomatoes

I have always wanted to grow tomatoes, but was told by my Grandad (who always won prizes at the local horticultural show) that it was too difficult, so I never tried.

Alas, he is no longer with us, and in view of the fact that I managed to grow parsley last year, I decided to give it a go!!

Planted Tomato seeds

I planted the seeds, just as instructed on the back of the packet, Preparing and warming the the soil I planted them not too deep, and not too crowded (I could always reduce the numbers in the bed after they had started growing!!)

My tomatoes have started to grow, it only feels like yesterday when I planted the seeds and now these cute little babies have repaid my hard work and preparation by appearing within weeks-Onward and upwards!!
