Ok I just love Grunge Music and really I have a lot of other influences but that is one of the main one. I love Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, the Stone Temple Pilots, the Toadies, etc...

Temple of the Dog was a amazing album with Chris Cornell and the guys from Pearl Jam. Really if I think about it the early 90s was a very productive time for rock n roll.

We had Nirvana and all the other great grunge bands and we had Guns N Roses one of the greatest rock bands of all time. They released User Illusion I and II in the early 90s. Metallica released their most popular album in the early 90s called Black. We also, had bands like Corrosion of Comformity and Mosnter Magnet that released awsome albums.

These were not grunge but were great. Check out Corrosion of Comformity Deliverance and Monster Magnets album Power Trip. White Zombie released Creep Show 2000 in the 90s. Really there was lot of great music back then. Rock music was dead in the 2000's most albums that were good I had to dig for. The Toadies released Hell Below Stars above another great album but no one has heard it. It is sad. The band broke up again right after that album.

Todd Lewis formed a new band called the Burden Brothers and relased the album Buried in my Black Heart. This album was amazing also. Then came the softmore release called Mercy. Mercy is just increadible. I have been fortunate to be able to attend several Toadies and Burden Brothers shows.

But anyways I guess I got a little side tracked.

But I think this year 2007 is going to be the begining of a renewal period of rock n roll. We are goin got get some amazing albums very soon.

We all ready got Audioslave Revalations. The thrid album from Audioslave. The album is amazing. Chris Cornell quit the band before it could be fully promoted. So pick it up otherwise you may never hear it. Chris Cornell the singer of Audioslave and Soundgarden has just started his solo career again. His second solo album is going to be released shortly. It is called carry on. Chris Cornell is touring playing songs form his whole career. That means soundgarden, audioslave, temple of the dog, and solo songs. We have a new album from Megadeth that just got released. Velvet Revolver are going to release their second album in July. The Smashing Pumpkins are back together. A new album is coming out shortly. Metallica is going to relase a new album this year.

This is going to be a good year!
