The Cast of Voices
Author Kathryn Lasky's beloved tales are brought to life in this gorgeously animated film. Devoloped from the first three books in the series, the film story follows Soren, our hero, that dreams of following on the wing of adventure, like the warrior tales of old. He's in constant conflict with his older brother Kludd, and their mischief leads them into a journey through the skies that they never could have imagined. Can they survive the throes of the Pure Ones? You'll have to watch to find out. This entralling computer animated film is from the "Happy Feet" production studio.
Zack Snyder: Director of this visually spectacular adventure whose credits include: Watchmen, 300andDawn of the Dead. His first animated feature.
Jim Sturgess: as Soren, the young owl yearning to follow in his father's footsteps. You'll recognize Jim from his standout role in "21" as the genius cardshark.
Hugo Weaving: This highly acclaimed actor brings a deep and wise quality to the voices of Grimble and Noctus, Soren's father. You already know his voice talent from Transformers as Megatron.
Ryan Kwanten: Personifies Kludd, Soren's disdainful older brother. Ryan is most known for his role as Jason Stockhouse in HBO's True Blood.
Emilie de Ravin: As Eglantine, she's little and a very charming owlet. Emilie is most well known for her portrayal of Claire Littleton on the television series Lost.
Other Notable Characterizations: Academy Award winners Geoffrey Rush, Helen Mirren and Sam Neill also lend their incredible talents to bring vibrance to this wonderful movie.
