"A trace of myself, in the memory of others..." Guerlain
1853 marked the peak of success of the house under Pierre-François with the creation of Eau de Cologne Impérial. This perfume earned Pierre-François the prestigious title of being His Majesty's Official Perfumer (France). He created perfumes for Queen Victoria of England and Queen Isabella of Spain, among other royalty.
Since then, four generations of the Guerlain family created fragrances and managed the company. In 1994 Guerlain was acquired by LVMH group, a multinational investment corporation specializing in luxury brands.
Nowadays Guerlain is a well known brand that offers not only outstanding fragrances but innovative skin care and luxurious make up.
