I like to use an office caddy for convenient storage, it's an inexpensive organizational tool that keeps my workspace clear, and my paintbrushes are always right at my fingertips!
When it comes to decorative painting, you can achieve many different affects by using just a few basic brushes. Decorative painting is a wonderful avenue to self-expression, so let's take a look at the brushes that you will be using.

For instance, while you are painting, place your brushes upside down in a container, not standing in your water container.
Brushes have a "memory", and if they are left standing in water, they will lose their shape; making it impossible to achieve the effect they were designed to create.
Brushes are made from many different materials, but my personal favorite is red sable. They maintain their shape well, are easy to clean, and when well cared for; last for a very long time.
