Conakry: The capital of Guinea, Conakry sits right against the Atlantic on the small island of Tumbo and spreads onto the mainland and is fortunate to be surrounded by beauty of all kinds. Among the best sights are the Cathedral and the National Museum, and a stroll through along the waterfront on the weekend to catch the street performers. Kakimbon Caves in Ratoma is a great sight to enjoy and Cape Verga 75 miles north of Conakry along the coast by jeep has beaches and makes for a great getaway spot.
