Lead developer Alan Flores has stated that the difficulty of the game is much harder than previous games and is designed to challenge the hard-core player. To meet the "ferocity" of Metallica's songs, the game features, in addition to the same five difficulty levels in World Tour, an "Expert " mode for drummers that allows them to add a second bass drum pedal. I never understood why everyone crowned Master of Puppets as Metallica's Magnum Opus, I find Ride the Lightning to be just better overall. I know it's tough to pick just one but try your best. Load happens to be getting the most play on my iPod right now but Ride the Lightning will always be my favorite. What about you guys?

What do you want to see in the next GH band title?
Guitar Hero: Metallica is pretty self-explanatory. It's a Guitar Hero game with a nearly all Metallica set-list. The band hand selected some songs from other artists to round out a diverse list of songs you can drum, sing and strum to. After you've had a chance to sink your teeth into the heavy metal come back and suggest some cool new features for Activision to include in their next game.
