How do we read guitar sheet music?
How to make sense of those little dots and squiggles
Guitar sheet music consists of what would be called the treble clef in piano sheet music.

If you are playing an arrangement for more than one guitar it will look like this:

If you are learning to play a song, You may just be looking at a sheet with the song lyrics and the names of the chords you use for accompaniment.
Learning to read the notes for any instrument is quite easy:
The notes appearing on the lines of the notation are EGBDF

You can remember them by saying Every Good Boy Does Fine
The notes in the spaces spell the word FACE

You can find a picture of the guitar fretboard showing where the notes are plus more info on guitar tabs and sheetmusic at http://playaguitarforfree.com/category/guitar-music-notes/

This is a Genuine Beatles Songbook
"This book contains the real music that the beatles played on the CD's you listen to. This book includes both John Lennons acoustic guitar and George Harrisons lead guitar where you can learn to play. This book gives you the guitar chords to play, how to play them, tablatures, and even the CD that plays all the Beatles songs in this book at its normal pace, and then slowly so you can make sure your playing right. I've read that some people say this book is complicated and hard to play, but thats just because the Beatles didn't play simple songs. If you want to play these wonderful songs on your guitar, get this book and I guarentee you'll love it."
-- Chris from Carmel, CA, April 28, 2004
Awesome Songbook !!!
"If you love the Beatles as much as I do and find it difficult to find accurate books for guitar, this book is for you.
The book is excellent. Having the accompaning CD adds greatly to the to the learning experience. This author has done his homework by playing the guitar parts on the CD with accompanying instruments at various levels. He first will play the entire song, then he we play the seperate guitar parts at various speeds so you can repeat them back note by note. You get music, tab, recorded songs with full backing instruments, and more.
I hope this author can expand on this book with other Beatle acoustic guitar books. He does offer other books in this format for the electric guitar. I own them ALL."
